“การศึกษาทางเลือก” หรือ Alternative Education

Alternative Education

หมายถึงการศึกษาที่มีรูปแบบแตกต่างไปจากการศึกษากระแสหลักในระบบโรงเรียนทั่วไป

การศึกษาทางเลือกจัดขึ้นบนพื้นฐานความเชื่อที่ว่าธรรมชาติของมนุษย์มีความแตกต่างหลากหลาย

ดังนั้นการศึกษาทางเลือก จึงมีหลายรูปแบบ

แต่ทั้งหมดมีจุดมุ่งหมายเดียวกันคือ เพื่อพัฒนานักเรียน ให้เป็นมนุษย์ที่สมบูรณ์ทุกด้าน โดยเฉพาะด้านสติปัญญาและจิตใจ

ขณะที่การศึกษาในระบบโรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่มุ่งที่จะตอบสนองแต่เพียงด้านวิชาความรู้เท่านั้น

สิ่งที่จำเป็นของการศึกษาทางเลือก คือ นักเรียนเกิดการเรียนรู้และสามารถดำรงชีวิตอยู่ในสังคมได้เป็นเรื่องสำคัญที่สุด

โรงเรียนทางเลือกตามวิถีโรงเรียนบ้านคุณแม่ เรามีความมุ่งหวังให้นักเรียนเป็นมนุษย์ที่สมบูรณ์

เป็นบุคคลที่มีความสุข เป็นคนดีและมีปัญญา สามารถอยู่ร่วมกันในสังคมอย่างเท่ากันและมีความสุข

The first Brain-friendly school in Chiangmai established in 2001

means an education having different form from normal education used in general school.

Alternative education is based on human nature, which are several.

Because of several differences of human nature the alternative education comprises of several styles.

Even though there are many forms for this type it has the same target as enhancing students to be sophisticated in both wisdom and mind.

Many schools provide students only the knowledge.

The most significant aim of the alternative education is to not only provide the knowledge

but also to build up the skill to join with other people in the society.
